Colleen Schindler/Grahame Lynch

Never the Same in the Retelling brings together the work of Colleen Schindler and Grahame Lynch, whose practices reshape photographs through disruption and repair. They use collage and fragmentation to consider what cannot be fully restored or seen the same way twice. Schindler's reconstructed photographs are shaped by memory, its extension, preservation, and occasional loss, while Lynch's layered imagery evokes emotional tension and perceptual instability.

Together, the works suggest that every image carries multiple lives. Like memory, they shift with each encounter, refracted through time and the fragile persistence of recollection.
